Thomas Matthew Roman founded Roman Ventures in 1999. What began as a digital marketing agency has, over twenty-five years, grown into a six-company holding architecture organized around a single conviction: that integrated operating companies, each architected to reinforce the others, will outperform a portfolio of unrelated bets.

That conviction came from twenty years of direct mentorship under Lee Iacocca. Roman studied at the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University through the Global Village program, a direct mentorship program that shaped his understanding of systems, standards, and the weight of leadership.

Roman is the author of The Bench: The Iacocca Standard, a book about the standard that shaped every company he built. He is a regular speaker on leadership, systems, and the architecture of sustainable organizations. He writes regularly at ThomasRoman.com.
